Today, we are exploring the connections and cycles that sustain life, while asking what role a business can play within them.
Regeneration gives us a way to explore these questions.
It invites us to look beyond visible outcomes and consider the relationships, culture, and living systems that make them possible.
Through this exploration, we hope to nurture new forms of “EN,” where connections deepen, new energy emerges, and life can flourish.

For us, Regeneration begins with a simple recognition: we are nature, too.
It asks us to reflect on our beings, how we relate to people, places, culture, and the living world. We explore these relationships through learning by doing, dialogue, sensing, and co-creating together.
Rather than presenting a fixed or final answer, regeneration is a continuous journey of questioning, learning, creating and acting together.

Our aim is not to keep workshops separate from everyday work, but to bring what we learn through them into the way we work and create together.

Regenerative Tatsuno Camp (RTC) brings employees together to explore what
Regeneration can mean for ourselves, our company, and the world around us.
Through dialogue, reflection, and practice, we learn from one another, and carry what we discover back into our everyday work.
Around 70% of our employees participated in the three to four-month program.*

VRV — co-creating our future
To mark our 90th anniversary, we began a journey to imagine the future we want to create.
Through 6 months of dialogue, workshops, and an immersive experience in an ethical and eco-conscious village, employees across generations came together to explore our Vision, Role, and Values (VRV) for 2050.
This shared vision continues to evolve through our everyday choices and practices across our businesses.

Renovation Project — evolving through space
Our renovation project explores how space can influence the way we work, relate, and create.
Rather than treating the space as finished, we allow it to evolve through dialogue, everyday use, and shared experiences.
People from inside and outside Tatsuno gather here, sharing their perspective through different roles.
The space invites them to experiment, exchange ideas, and create together, with tools and materials available around them.
Through this ongoing process, we continue to rethink how we work, how we relate to one another, and what can emerge from the process.
